Consulting in Drug Design GbR (CDD) was established in 1992 by Prof. Dr. habil. Rainer Franke (curriculum vitae R. F. ) and DC Andreas Gruska (curriculum vitae A. G.). It is built on the knowledge of more than 20 years of academic research in Computer Aided Drug Design and Medicinal Chemistry at the former Institute of Drug Research of the Academy of Sciences of the GDR, and on a long tradition of cooperation with the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry. Customers of CDD are major pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies in Europe but also academic and government institutions. CDD has special know how in the application of chemometric methods in Drug Design and computational risk assessment (see also publications). Prof. R. Franke and DC A. Gruska are both physical chemists with specialization in biochemistry, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical as well as agrochemical research. During their careers, they have been involved in the following research areas: |
Development and application of chemometric methods of structure-activity analysis (QSAR) for bioactive agents | |
